Matthew Wilson Joins BTB Security as Chief Information Security Advisor

Former Core BTS director to add his technical and strategic expertise to company's expanding information security services

Philadelphia, PA / September 15, 2017 / BTB Security, a leading information-security assessment, detection, and incident-response firm, today announced that Matthew Wilson has joined the company as Chief Information Security Advisor. He will work closely with clients as an advocate to help strengthen their security programs.

Wilson joins BTB Security from Core BTS where he was the National Director of Security Advisory Services for over 10 years. He brings in-depth experience across all industries serving Fortune 500 companies and the SMB space. Wilson holds certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), and GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).

With over 15 years in the industry, his expertise includes network security, policy/process assessment and development, penetration testing, and application assessments. Wilson has performed vendor information security due diligence for large banks, as well PCI compliance testing for all companies from Healthcare to Retail.

Prior to Core BTS, Wilson served as a consultant for Protiviti and Quality Assurance Engineer at Thomson Scientific.
