Team Manager - Philadelphia, PA

BTB Security has need for a team manager to oversee aspects of Human Resources practices and processes. The team manager will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by implementing new policies and addressing employee concerns
  • Manage the recruitment and selection, onboarding, and termination processes
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Manage scheduling and time off requests
  • Maintain BTB Security’s Threat Operations schedule to ensure 24x7 coverage
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining commissions and bonuses

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
